The Management Council meeting will be held August 16 and 17, 2010, at the Danforth University Center, Room 276.
Sessions will begin as follows:

The Danforth University Center (DUC) is located on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis. See details and maps below.
All sessions will be held in room 276 of the Danforth University Center. This conference room is on the second floor. Enter the lobby at the north entrance and proceed to the steps directly in the front of you. The conference room is directly across from the second floor landing.
Network access: The conference room has wireless Internet connectivity. Use the guest wireless network GUESTWIFI-WUSTL, which does not require a password. Your computer should automatically detect this network. If you have trouble, see the University's Wireless Information page and the Wireless Setup and Troubleshooting page.

Food: Coffee, tea and water will be provided in the morning. Cookies and soda will be added in the afternoon. Lunch is in the same building on the ground floor; there is a food court with many offerings and a restaurant, Ibby's, that has a lunch buffet for about $10.
Washington University, the hotels in Clayton, and the airport are all close to Metrolink stops. Think twice about whether you will need to rent a car. In addition the Crowne Plaza Hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport and to and from the meeting.

An LCD projector and screen for PowerPoint presentations will be provided. If you want to use a Mac computer, please bring your own adapter cable.
Lodging |
A block of 20 rooms have been reserved at the Crowne Plaza Clayton Hotel under the title "Planetary Data Systems". The room rate is $115.00/night. The Reservation Desk number is 1-314-726-5400. The cut-off date for making your reservation is July 15. You can make reservations online with The Crowne Plaza using the code PDW. The hotel is approximately 4 blocks from the Clayton metro stop.

Take Interstate I-70 East to I-170 South (exit 238B)
Take I-170 South about 6 miles to Ladue Road (exit 1F)
Take a right onto Ladue and proceed east about 1.2 miles to Bemiston Avenue
Take a right on Bemiston and proceed south two blocks to Carondelet Avenue
Make a left on Carondelet and an immediate right into hotel entrance

Parking |
Parking at the Crown Plaza is $6/day for guests and non-guests. The garage is located to the right of the hotel entrance.
Parking at the DUC is in an underground garage located under the building. There are 2 elevators in the garage that will take you to the second floor; however, the north elevator is closer to the meeting room. You will need a yellow parking pass to park in the DUC garage. Please contact Margo Mueller at least two weeks before the meeting to request a pass.
Meals |
The Crowne Plaza has a restaurant on the first floor called the Plaza Grill. Upon registration you will receive tickets for a complimentary breakfast buffet beginning at 7:00 AM Monday through Friday.
For lunch, the DUC dining hall has 4 or 5 stations to purchase food. This includes salads, hot dishes, soups, pizza, sandwiches, vegetarian options, and Asian or Latin cuisines. Serving stations include the 1853 Diner, DeliciOSO, Trattoria Verde, and the Wash U Wok. In addition the DUC has a restaurant (Ibby's) and a cafe (Bergson's). http://diningservices.wustl.edu/
