Time constraints during the tests didn't allow for NMR and Mössbauer measurements to be done during the day. Collected samples similar to those in the science experiments, with one side covered with red varnish and another with dark varnish, were analyzed during the night in the operations trailer. In this graph, the NMR data shows the signature for magnetite at approximately 67 MHz on a dark varnished basalt cobble. Magnetite is a common accessory mineral in basalts.
