Rocky 7 has two pairs of stereo cameras for creating navigation images, one pair in the front of the rover and one in the rear. They are located in the center of the rover, just under the solar panel. The cameras have wide a field of view and static focus from a few inches to infinity. Rocky 7 uses these images to look for obstacles in its path. Images from the front nav cameras are shown here. These images can be processed to remove the distortion of the lens.
