Short traverse: timeline and data
A short traverse was completed in order to test Rocky 7's navigation
and imaging systems before the long 250 m traverse on Wednesday.
Digging test: timeline and data
Rocky 7's manipulator arm was used to collect soil samples it
had dug up near the rim of Spa Crater.
Self inspection: timeline and data
Rocky 7's stereo mast cameras were used to obtain images of the
rover. For a rover on Mars, this ability will be important for
determining the condition of the rover and maintaining it as long
as possible.
Science target imaging: timeline and data
WITS was used to designate points on science targets for close-up
imaging.
