Guidelines for Turning in Homework Electronically

Exercises are due at the beginning of class on the due date, unless otherwise stated.

  1. Location: Answers for an exercise should be in your path11 directory under 'ex#', where '#' is the exercise number. For example, exercise 2 files would be in path11\sddog\ex2 for user sddog.
NOTE: If you are in your room you may access your path11 directory remotely via your web browser. From there you can create new subdirectories and drag-and-drop files from your own computer to your path11 directory. Remember that you need to log in using your class username and password. Details are available on using secure FTP.

    Secure ftp address: sftp://major.wustl.edu/students/path11.

  2. Format: Answers should be written up in a single Word document. You can use screen captures (PrintScreen on Windows keyboard) to copy images and maps which may be pasted into your document.

  3. Filename: Your Word document should have the name <user>_ex#.doc, where <user> is your username and '#' is the exercise number.
