Priorization Discussion Notes
- Geology traverse to Kaibab, but not on Sol 7
-
- LTP argues against multisol examination of the local area; want to traverse to richer target areas;
- Acquire IPS data of range of targets, especially outcrops in midground, of area before leaving

Does this location count towards mission success if we touch and go? No guidance from HQ, so Chair decides only counts if we spend full sol doing spectroscopy with all instruments.
- No compelling arguments about drive direction - need more time for analysis
- Therefore, make today a spectrsocopy sol of sol in front of us; will give mission success site and more time for analysis of overall site
MiniTES targets:
sol in front of rover
woodstock-
- MiniTES at ranges greater than 30m gives much noise; only use for gross differentiation of mineralogy

IPS:
Close to Ringwood
Woodstock
Stony Point (no supporting Navcam)

General Prioritization falls as below:
1:stony point,woodstock, ringwood
2:hawks nest, kaibab, hatteras, camelback, pipestone
3: Pocono
4: Ringwood: MI, APXS, MB
5: Other MI
6: Atm Obs: IPS 180deg from sun vertical stepping 15deg;
7: Pancam of tracks

Radiated Sequence Summary Sequence Execution Summary
Post Uplink Informal Debrief:
- Rushed sequence creation since observations were not made in SAP by SOWG
- All IPS at 1000 coadds
- all support Navcam and IPS in DTE
- IPS, MT, supportng Navcam and Pancam of Oatlands (as close as possible to Ringwood) (3x1 IPS), Woodstock (3x1 IPS), Stony Point (split into 2 observations 3x1 and 5x1 vertical scan to get stratigraphy to right of the 3x1)
- Other remote spectroscopy got outcrops Kaibab, Hatteras, Camelback, and Pipestone as vertical IPS with supporting Navcam for all and support Pancam for all but Kaibab (Sol 1-6 pancam pan captured Kaibab). Focused on outcrops because we could be traversing there
- Hawk Nest, Pocono, rear wheel tracks not in sequence.
- Atm Sci got IPS but not Pancam measurements; IPS at 15, 30, 45deg because IPS spacing must be constant
- Calibrations: No Pancam calibrations, due to tight bits and tight time to create sequence. For IPS calibration, cal at start of first set, at start of second set, and at end
- IDD: 5 frame MI, MB, then APXS, with 3 hazcam images (2 hazcam DTE). Target selection focused on setting down on fine grained soil rather than pebbles since trying to find an average composition rather than half dirt+half pebble.

Chronology: remote sensing observations, then IDD observations

We might be over on FIDO time, which means that the IDD work would be lost and we would then lose this as a site/location.

Note: FIDO has never taken image at 90deg (straight up). Even if we had the resources to do it, it probably would not have gotten past the Mission Manager.

Post Uplink Formal Debrief:
- IPS (DTE) on Stoney Point, Woodstock (small rock), and Oatlands (soil in front of rover as stand in for Ringwood which is out of view of IPS/cameras) with supporting Navcam (DTE) and Pancam (UHF)
- Second Priority IPS: IPS (DTE, all vertical strips) of Kaibab, Hatteras, Canelback, and Pipestone with supporting Navcam and some Pancam
- Atm Sci: IPS of sky at 15, 30, and 45deg elevations
- IDD of Ringwood (soil): deploy arm, CMI slew (5 images, UHF), Front Hazcam (DTE), MB deploy (UHF), Front Hazcam (DTE), APXS deploy (UHF), Front Hazcam (UHF)
- All IPS at 1000 coadds
- all support Navcam and IPS in DTE
None entered.
