Scientists and engineers had their second chance to practice maneuvering FIDO into place above drill targets in the Mars Yard October 18 - 20. Since FIDO is very similar to the rover that will be sent to Mars in 2003, scientists will spend a lot of time over the next years learning to operate it efficiently so they can maximize their efforts on Mars.
